Maggie started out by making batches of her traditional marinara sauce as gifts for those in her New Jersey community. Someone new to the neighborhood? Here is a jar of deep red marinara. Did someone just have a baby? How about fettuccine with creamy alfredo? The sauces quickly became common requests.

In 2017, Maggie was asked to run the  Family Italian Dinner fundraiser at a nearby school. Maggie added three sauces to the menu - marinara, alfredo, and blush - making this fundraiser financially successful, but more importantly, an enjoyable time as community members broke bread and shared delicious food.

Maggie and her family moved to Columbus, Mississippi in 2021, when her husband was transferred with the military. It was quickly apparent that there were fewer Italian options in the area. Neighbors begged for the sauce, encouraging her to sell it. And that is how Amore Sauce was founded in 2022.  In August of 2023, Maggie and her family were relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico and is in the process of starting back up.
